Business Protection Critical Illness with Term Assurance can be taken out to protect a business from the death, terminal illness or critical illness of a key person, for shareholder or partnership protection or for business loan protection.
If the sum paid out under Business Protection Critical Illness with Term Assurance forms part of your estate, it may not be free of inheritance tax. Cover held by the trustees of a trust should not normally form part of the estate for Inheritance Tax purposes.
